MORE PROJECTS

The proposed Project is located on provincial Crown land approximately 10 km south of Chetwynd and 2.5 km north of the existing operational Sukunka Wind Energy Project. The initial plan for the project consists of up to 10 wind turbines, each with an installed capacity of 7 MW.
The Paqt’smawei Sipu Wind Project (is proposed to be located approximately 12 km southeast of Springdale on provincial Crown land. The Project would consist of up to 27 wind turbines; however, the Project will likely be built in phases. The first phase is proposed at 15 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of approximately 105 MW
The Salmon River Wind Project is proposed to be located approximately 9 km southwest of Hammondvale on provincial Crown land. The Project would consist of up to 34 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of approximately 203 megawatts (MW).
The proposed Kci-Wocawson Energy Project (the “Project”) is being developed and will be owned in partnership by Tobique First Nation (Neqotkuk) and Natural Forces Developments. The proposed Project is located in Kings County, New Brunswick, approximately 20 kilometers east of the Town of Sussex. The proposed Project consists of up to 12 wind turbine generators capable of producing a total of approximately 50 MW of renewable energy. The proposed turbines have a tower height and blade length of approximately 130 m and 70 m, respectively. The proposed Project will consist of wind turbines, a substation, collection system, access roads, and transmission line.
Welcome to the website for the proposed Wejipek Wind Project! This website was created to provide information to community members, First Nations, government, and other stakeholders about the proposed project. Natural Forces is committed to meeting with stakeholders throughout the lifetime of the project. Open houses and other community engagement activities are planned for this project - the website will be updated as information becomes available.
The initial plans are for the proposed project to consist of an estimated 10-12 wind turbines that will have an installed capacity of approximately 50 MW, enough electricity to power over 17,000 Nova Scotian homes. The project is located in Cumberland County, on Westchester Mountain near Highway 104, approximately 24 km from the Cobequid Pass Tolls.
